Craftsmanship
Everything here is made slowly. That is not a philosophy – it is simply what the craft requires.
At our workshop in Tuscany, willow is prepared for 2 weeks ready to be worked by hand, strand by strand, into its characteristic cylindrical form. The fitted lid, the arched handle, the willow-leaf clasp – each element made in the same hands, in the same room.
The leather is worked alongside the willow. The handle is colour-drenched to echo the wicker it belongs to. Each colourway is cut, dyed, and woven directly into the body of the bag, each completely unique and unrepeated, one of one.
The craft belongs to the women who have spent their lives perfecting it. Slow work, skilled hands, one workshop. The only way to make something that lasts.
